Seeded from a simple idea, SUPPLEMENT MANUFACTURING KAIZEN (SMK) Global has grown into an innovation-driven manufacturing company, committed to redefining excellence in the supplement industry.

SMK Global was established in 2018 to bridge the technical gap between initial formulation and large–scale manufacturing disciplines.

Founded by Abhijit (AB) Patel, a licensed pharmacist, scientist and a manufacturing industry leader with a masters in pharmaceutical sciences from St. John’s University, New York. The company provides the scientific rigor required to transition a product from the lab to the global market.

FROM THE LAB TO THE EXECUTIVE SUITE, he has built a distinguished career in the pharmaceutical and dietary supplement industries. Beginning as a pharmacy intern and advancing to Assistant Vice President of Research & Development, he brings over 20 years of experience and deep expertise in formulation science, manufacturing systems, and the operational complexities of scaling highest-quality products.

His experience revealed a critical market failure – diminishing consumer trust and credibility, alongside slow and inefficient product commercialization. While innovation and marketing advanced rapidly, the scientific rigor and manufacturing discipline behind many products often struggled to keep pace.
